As part of our suicide prevention campaign, For All Seasons is getting important resources into the hands of our community. We are distributing thousands of brochures across the region—from nonprofits and local businesses to community organizations—that share simple, lifesaving steps anyone can take if they’re worried about someone. By spreading these tools, we’re helping our community learn how to recognize the signs, start the conversation, and connect people to support.
Additionally as part of the No Matter What…You Matter suicide prevention campaign, For All Seasons is connecting directly with students on local college campuses. Our outreach tables feature resources and brochures with steps to support someone in crisis, along with an interactive banner asking, “What would you say to someone who is struggling?” This activity encourages students to reflect, share messages of hope, and learn about the services available to them and their peers.
As in years past, For All Seasons is presenting to County Councils in Mid-Shore Counties about the prevalence of suicide and the ongoing need to focus on suicide prevention. These counties proclaim September as No Matter What… You Matter Suicide Prevention Month and encourage all residents to play their role in preventing suicide by participating in the ASK. LISTEN. SHARE. campaign.
For All Seasons launched the NoMatterWhatYouMatter.org website with the goal of making suicide prevention tools and awareness as easy to access as possible. Visitors to the webpage can find:
For All Seasons friends and family participate in other organizations' suicide awareness and prevention efforts, including the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention's Out of the Darkness walk and the Christopher Foundation for Life's Run/Walk/Bike for Mental Health event.
